Toyota Kirloskar Motor (TKM) has announced the launch of a variant of
the World's No. 1 bestseller, Corolla Limited Edition 2005. India's
most popular vehicle in the executive segment will now be available in
an enigmatic Dark Red Mica Metallic colour that will set your hearts
racing. TKM is planning to sell 250 units of the Corolla Limited
Edition 2005.
All variants of the new Corolla will come with additional features
like Anti-Locking Braking System (ABS), Hood Insulator and Headlamp
Leveling Switch.
Corolla has registered sales of 10,195 units from January to December
2004, a growth of 25% over the previous year. Corolla has recorded the
highest ever retail sales at 1023 units in December 2004.
According to Mr. A Toyoshima, Managing Director, TKM, "The best
selling car in the world has also become the best seller in the
segment in India over the past one year. In the process it has also
redefined the perception of styling, performance and quality in the
Executive Segment of the automobile industry in India."
Adapted for Indian conditions, the Corolla brings to the customer the
style and performance of a world-class sedan; backed by a reputation
for quality, spare parts and service.
The Corolla is competitively priced, making it the ideal premium car
suitable for the Indian automobile market. Ex-showroom Bangalore price
for the Corolla Limited Edition 2005 variant is Rs. 10.89 lakhs.

The unique features of Toyota Corolla include the powerful VVTi
engine, Intelligent Automatic Climatic Control AC, Optimum mileage and
luxurious Interiors.
Toyota Corolla has recently been ranked as best quality car in premium
midsize segment by J. D. Power Asia Pacific 2004 India APEAL Study.
This result closely follows the results of J.D. Power Asia Pacific
2004 India Initial Quality Study where Toyota Corolla was ranked best
quality car not only in Premium Midsize Segment but also across all
passenger car segments and achieved the record breaking score by
receiving lowest ever problems per car which is the best ever recorded
in the Indian automobile industry
The Toyota Corolla also dominated the recently held TNS 2004 Total
Customer Satisfaction Ranking survey, which was based on Sales
Satisfaction, Product Quality, Vehicle performance and design, After
sales service, brand image and cost of ownership of vehicle.
