This issue of 'Businessman of the year'
Award is the culmination of 12
months spent in profiling the prominent Businessmen of Hyderabad. So far we
have featured 12 outstanding Businessmen of Hyderabad who have
benchmarked in their respective field of business by sheer dint of
their hard work and vision. Since ours is a monthly feature, we, for sure
have missed out many deserving entrepreneurs of Hyderabad
and we will surely be profiling them in the coming months.
As far as the selection for the award goes, all our previous Businessmen
and also others who were not featured, were also considered one after
the other for the award and even though each of them deserved the
Businessman of the year Award, We had to select one among them. It was indeed a very difficult choice given the kind of
achievements all of them had in their respective fields.
Finally our unanimous choice
went in favor of a person who heads one of the biggest software companies of India
- Mr.Ramalinga
Raju, whose meteoric rise to be among the Forbes list of Billionaires in
a short span of 8 years is not a mean achievement in Business
today. Infact Mr.Raju was our second Businessman of the Month.
We had then profiled him as the "Prince of
Cyberabad" who
would go on to become the "Cyber King of Hyderabad" someday.
Since then he has indeed come a long way to build up a world class
company.
His attempts has helped Hyderabad become a name to reckon with, on the
world map. And that's the kind of entrepreneurs that Reachout has all
along been chasing and we are very proud to declare Mr.Ramalinga Raju as
our "Businessman of the year". Well Mr. Raju, you have
truly arrived.
