To enhance the knowledge , understanding and adoption of the application services provider(ASP) model in the Indian marketplace, leading global technology providers of hardware, software and 
infrastructure have joined together to launch the application service providers in India(Faspin).

The forum brings together the stakeholders of the digital economy to explore the ASP model as a solution to the growing needs for new ways to host, implement, manage and support information 
technology for Indian business and industry.

The founding members of Faspin include Intelligroup Inc., Microsoft India, Hudges Escorts Communications, Compaq India, Citrix india, Ideas2dotCom india and Ariba South Asia.

The forum would be an advocacy group for customers, partners and solution providers with a mission to articulate the ASP message, disseminate information and provide a central forum for the discussion 
of ASP issues, including the establishment of guidelines, standards and best practices in India .
