Mold-Tek
is the only ISO9002 certified company in
rigid plastic packaging Industry in
India. Mold-Tek started as a plastic
packaging company, currently holds
leadership position in India. Mold-Tek
achieved a turn over of $12 million
during the year 1999-2000. The shares of

Post-Graduation in Management from the
prestigious Indian Institute of
Management, Bangalore and Mr.
A.Subramanyam (B.Tech) in the year 1986.
Mold-Tek is the pioneer in India for
molded rigid plastic packing containers
with air tight and pilfer proof
features. Mold-Tek has 4 plants spread
over 10 acres of land and more than
1,00,000 sqft covered area. It is the
only ISO 9002 certified company in India
for rigid plastic packaging.
In 1993 Mold-Tek made its IPO, its
shares are listed on the BSE and the HSE.
Mold-Tek has 30 injection moulding
machines and a sophisticated in-house
tool room with MIKRON Swiss make CNC
machines and CAD/CAM facilities. Mold-Tek
also has silk screen printing and 4
colour Ultra Violet offset printing
facilities.
Mold-Tek has introduced the concept of
molded rigid plastic packaging
containers with Air Tight and pilfer
proof features. Mold-Tek 's pails have
unique "Extendible Spouts" (patented)
for easy dispensing of liquids with
excellent tamper proof and anti gurgling
mechanism.
The company offers contains ranging from
1/2 ltr/kg to 25ltr/kg. These containers
are known as pails and are suitable for
packing lubricants , greases, paints,
chemicals, food products, edible oils,
etc..... The containers are lightweight
and are made of impact grade PP
co-polymer. Mold-Tek also has facilities
for production pf PET jars and bottles
and blow moulded Containers
Mold-Tek is one of the major packaging
supplier to Indian Paint Industry today.
"CONIPACKS"TM have also revolutionised
the grease packaging as they provide
complete safety against adulteration and
offer better aesthetics and user
friendly features.
Mold-Tek has entered the PET packaging
segment. Mold-Tek offers PET bottles and
jars for packing tea, mineral water,
liquor, confectioneries, cosmetic and
agro chemicals Mold-Tek is also catering
to household segment with its "Pretti-Pet"
range of products.
