the Indian Movie Industry.

Prasad Productions has a standing of
nearly five decades in film &
entertainment. Since its inception
in 1956, it has produced some of
India’s finest movies providing
wholesome family entertainment. Mr.
L.V Prasad himself directed several
films, which have enthralled the
audiences, young and old with his
realistic family-oriented themes,
many of which have been box office
successes.
Under the leadership of its Director
Mr. A.Ramesh, son of the legendary
Shri. L.V. Prasad, the group has
grown from strength to strength
through pioneering technology and
also diversified into related areas.
Equipped with state-of-the-art
facilities, Prasad Studios, Chennai
was started in 1965 as a
one-stop-shop providing all
facilities for movie production. The
state-of-the-art shooting stages
provide even the most discerning
producer, everything he could ask
for.
Prasad Film Laboratories(PFL) was
started in 1975 and boasts of
world-class, state-of-the-art
post-production facilities. PFL
serves as a single window service
provider which caters to the film
makers’ technical requirements like
film processing, dubbing, mixing,
sound recording, editing and preview
theatres. It has to its credit,
facilities in Chennai, Hyderabad,
Bangalore, Thiruvananthapuram,
Bhubaneswar, Noida and more recently
in Mumbai.
Prasad Video Digital & EFX, the
special effects division, is another
feather in the cap of the L.V.
Prasad Group. EFX specialises in
creating visual effects that propel
audiences into an imaginary world
through highest quality cutting edge
computer generated imaging. Mr. A.
Sai Prasad the grandson of the
illustrious Mr. L.V. Prasad,
spearheads this division.
The L.V. Prasad Group is also
actively involved in philanthropic
activities. A shining example being
the world class LV Prasad Eye
Hospital located on L.V. Prasad Marg,
wherein the services are being
provided free of cost to the poor
and needy.
Prasad Media Corporation Limited is
now making its foray into the world
of entertainment, leisure and
retail. This is the result of a long
cherished dream of Mr.A.Ramesh to

IMAX theatre to Hyderabad.
