Hyderabad, April, 2004 : Bharti Tele-Ventures (BTVL), India’s leading private sector provider of telecommunication services has announced that all its 15 existing cellular mobile licenses have been migrated to Unified Access Service License (UASL) with immediate effect. Bharti now holds Unified Access licenses for 20 circles viz. Delhi, Mumbai, Gujarat, Haryana, Kerala, Madhya Pradesh, Maharastra, Tamil Nadu, U.P. (West), Kolkata, Chennai, Himachal Pradesh, Karnataka, Punjab, Andhra Pradesh, Uttar Pradesh (East), West Bengal & Andaman Nicobar, Orissa, Bihar and Jammu & Kashmir and has also applied for a UASL in Assam. Upon closing of the Hexacom acquisition, Bharti will have all the 23 circles of India with the addition of Rajasthan and North-east.
