Hyderabad, July, 2004: IDEA Cellular brings exciting contests through SMS to cricket lovers of Andhra Pradesh. Latest in such offerings is an SMS-based contest on the Asia Cup cricket till 1^st August 2004. 

Asia Cup Cricket is an annual event featuring all cricket playing nations from Asia comprising of India, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, UAE and Hong Kong. The  contest is open to all postpaid and prepaid subscribers of IDEA across Andhra Pradesh. 

Asia Cup Cricket SMS contest would have five new questions to be answered daily in the simple round. The contestant needs to send an SMS <ASIA> to 1515 as an SMS to receive the first five questions. To reply, he/she has to simply type ASIA A/B/C (any one option) and send the message to 1515. Each correct answer will earn a credit of 5 points and an incorrect answer will get one point. A Bonus round option is given to the subscriber where he is required to answer an additional five questions. These would fetch the participant 10 additional points for each correct answer. Winners would be declared on the maximum points scored. Incase of a tie, winners would be selected by a draw of lots. 

The First lucky winner gets a package tour to watch the match live at Sri Lanka, courtesy Sri Lankan Airlines. Second prize is a colour screen GPRS Mobile Phone, and the third prize is free accommodation for a couple at a Club Mahindra Resorts property at Munnar- Hill Resort, Kerala. There are also many consolation prizes to be won. SMS Charges @ Rs.3/- per message would be applicable.
