10th and 12th Standard Board Exam results now available through I-Way Cyber Cafes and on Sify.com

Hyderabad, May, 2002: Sify Ltd, India’s premier Internet, network and eCommerce Services Company is offering an unique service to students in India through its 900 I-Way brand cyber cafes across the country.

Students who have appeared for the 10th or 12th standard Central Board or State Board exams, and are I-Way members, can now speedily view their results and take print outs of their mark sheets from an I-Way close to them. Home access users can view their results online on Sify.com. Announcements of the results are expected from the 3rd week of May.

Availability of the results through the I-Ways will help students and their parents in several ways:

*Students can get their results quickly & in comfort, without going through the mad rush and stampede in schools.
*Students on holiday or living far away from the schools can get their results at the I-Ways close to them.
*Anxious parents also would not have to wait for the child to come back from school to know their performance.
*Students wanting to avail of this service can easily become I-Way members at an I-way close to them. Each student would be allowed to take one free print out of the results. Students could also leave their Roll Nos. at the I-Ways and the franchisee would keep the mark sheet printouts ready.
*By using this service, students and their parents can speedily communicate their results to all members of their family, relieving tension and ushering quick celebrations for those who have done well.
