years old, oldest store for ethnic wear opens a
new outlet for ethnic & western wear at Banjara
Hills
Hyderabad: Ethnic and Western Wear are poles apart.
While one is true regional, other is international

Belongs to 110 years old Maqdoom Bros, a store at Madina, said to be the oldest store for ethnic
wear in the city, INDO WESTERN ETHNICS was
formally inaugurated by veteran cricketer,
Mohammed Azharuddin. The clothes which were once
traditional today are fashion garments. And we
want to cash in on from the trend of ethnic and
western clothes grooms prefer to wear for their
wedding, informs Mr. Faiz Mohiuddin one of the
brothers behind the showroom.
The store showcases sherwani, kurta pyjama,
jodhpuri, kurta suits, choti suits, pathanis and
exclusive grooms collection in ethnic. In western
wear, the range includes blazer, coat, suit,
trousers and shirts. The store centrally located
at Road No. 1, Banjara Hills in 900 sft are has
huge collection of clothes. In sherwani alone it
has 65 designs which include Plain Sherwani(Basic),
Single Panel , Double Panel Sherwani, Kedia Style
Sherwani, Achkan Style Sherwani, Brockade Sherwani,
Khadi Style Sherwani and others.
It also house over 100 varieties of kurtas and 25
Jodhpuri. These include Silk, Cotton and Swiss
kurtas. The Jodhpuri include Single and Double
Panel Jodhpuri, Jodhpuri with detachable double
collar and Jodhpuri made of swarowski work.

fascinate yourself with a breathtaking range of

who were trained at NIFT, NITD from Delhi. It

the biggest exporters of ethnic wear from
Hyderabad.

Maqdoom Bros by Khaja Mohiuddin Hussani, it
expanded in subsequent years to Road No.1, Banjara
Hills with New Maqdoom Bros. store and Lagan, yet
another store for ethnic wear at Greenlands last
year. And now Indo Western Ethnic at Banjara
Hills. The store at Madina is by far the largest
ever store in the city for ethnic wear. it boasts
of 10,000 s.ft of area. In all the three stores
put together, it has a total of 13, 100 sq ft of
retail area in the city selling exclusive variety
of ethnic wear.
