Jamewar
A unique store for Pakistani Garments
Hyderabad:
The leaders talk tough to each other, armies are
locked in a lengthy standoff. But clothes unite
both the countries. The women in both the
countries, India and Pakistan, have been
experimenting with each other’s fashion styles.
Now to add one more dimension to the improved ties
between the countries, two Hyderabadi men Mr.
Mohsin Baig and Mr. Mushtaq Ahmed toyed up with an
idea of Jamewar for quite some time. Thus was born
the idea of a distinguished women store for
Pakistani garments. This only of its kind of store
in city, presents an exquisite collection of
dresses for the fashion conscious women, smart yet
sober, subdued yet extravagant, in never before
breathtaking designs.
The craze for Paki clothes and
their designs is more here in our city than any
other city in India. So we house from traditional
to western top of the line designs by couture
designer Ms. Maria Amer Hussain of Honarkada
Institute of Fashion Technology, Islamabad,
Pakistan. She will work on carefully selected
local fabric with a surprising play of colours in
meticulous designs. The collection includes Sarees,
Salwar kameez, pakistani womenswear, embroidered
dresses, Pakistani bridal dresses, lehenga choli,
pakistani designer dress & wedding dresses and
gowns, tops, trousers, parallels and skirts. The
collection includes everything to every body from
young to old, showcasing the most modern and
latest. The price range of the collection starts
from Rs 500/- and goes upwards to Rs One lakh for
Bridal Wear and others.
Fashion cultures in both the
countries has much in common. Of course, the saree
is more popular in India, while the salwar-kameez
(traditional trouser suit) is prevalent in
Pakistan but women in both the countries are
always experimenting with each other’s fashion
styles. Offlate catwalks and fashion shows are
being organised in both the countries for each
others clothes and designers. There was even a
show for Pakistani wares in Delhi recently. Women
clothes and spices have drawn huge crowds in that
show ‘Made in Pakistan’ held recently in Delhi.
If this trend is any indication, Jamewar is
confident of being a huge hit within no time.
B esides
Pakistani designer clothes, Jamewar also presents
exquisite women accessories by Jane Shilton
(London).
The interiors are tastefully
done by Mr. Mushtaq Ahmed, who himself is
part-time interior designer. He carries with him
20 years of rich experience in fashion garments
business.
