Hyderabad, December, 2003:
Marrybrown, one of the leading food chains with
over 150 restaurants in Asia has finally come to
Hyderabad. The outlet, the latest addition to the
already existing eleven, was recently inaugurated by Cine
Star Murali Mohan. The new store franchised
by Mr. N. V. Prasad, ‘Pitstop Foods’ was opened at
Prasad’s Imax, Necklace Road, Hyderabad. The
Marrybrown experience is targeted at families and
is known for the delicious fried chickens and the
mouth watering burgers.
There are a number of flexible
options that a family can choose from. Customers
could choose from a single combo priced at Rs.
75/- to the family combo priced at Rs.499/-. There
is also a special menu for vegetarians, besides
the value meals and kiddie meals. The store has a
capacity to accommodate 100 people and includes a
separate fun zone for kids.
Mr. M.G.M. Anand, Director, Marrybrown, said,
“With Marrybrown, the family restaurant launched
at Hyderabad, we have opened 12 stores in South
India in a short span of 3 years. We would be one
of the fasted growing food chains in India and
plan to open around 100 stores in the next 5
years”. “We have a vision of becoming the largest
and finest food chain in India. In Hyderabad, we
plan to open another 4 stores within one year”, He
further added.
Mr. N. V. Prasad, Franchisee, Marrybrown,
Hyderabad, said “Hyderabad is a growing city with
infrastructure improving at a very fast pace and
this has encouraged a lot of people to choose
Hyderabad to settle down. The city has become
international and hosts a lot of chicken loving
crowd. So we felt that this is the right time to
introduce Marrybrown in Hyderabad. Further, Imax
studio’s is one of the happening one stop
entertainment arena for Hyderabadis and about
12000 people come here for shopping and
entertainment and that’s why we chose this place
for setting up the Marrybrown store.”
The food has been tailor made for the food
connoisseurs in Hyderabad to suit their palette
after doing a lot of research on the preferences
of the Hyderabad neighborhood.
Prasad’s Imax studios also has 4 Cineplex’s, 1
multiplex, a gaming center, up market brand
outlets and is an one stop shop with state of the
art facilities for the enthusiastic
shoppers. Though there are many fast food joints
today with universal appeal, Marrybrown scores
because the food has been prepared keeping in mind
the preferences of the Indian palate.
