in India
High
street fashion brand inaugurates its first store
in Hyderabad

Splash, the high street fashion brand
of Dubai based Landmark Group has launched its
first store in India at Hyderabad.
The 12,000 sq. ft. store located at Begumpet
will showcase some of Splash's most popular
brands designed to cater to almost every
lifestyle need of the customer. With
collections that include denim, sports,
casuals, formals, evening/club, intimates as
well as a specialized offering for the plus
size consumer, Splash has something for
everyone.
Splash is headquartered in Dubai, UAE's
cosmopolitan hub, and has grown aggressively
over the last 15 years since it opened its
first store in 1993. Today Splash is a well
known high street fashion brand that has
matured in a highly competitive and
international environment to create a retail
footprint that maps 7 countries with 78 Splash
stores and 66 branded boutiques.
Speaking at the launch in Hyderabad, Mr.
Raza Beig - CEO, Splash said "The
Indian consumer has matured, is aware of the
variety of products available across market
segments and is now poised to enjoy the retail
boom.
India today is recognized as one of the
world's fastest growing markets and it was a
logical choice for our first foray outside the
Middle East. Hyderabad is a vibrant city and

brand."

According to Mrs. Renuka Jagtiani, CEO,

The 12,000 sq. ft. store brings the brand
alive with interiors that have been designed
and fitted by an Italian designer. Beig

and consumer attention since its launch last
year. The entire concept revolves around the
Yin-Yang theory reflecting a design inspired
from our need to make the consumer feel like a

India forms part of Splash's global expansion
plans and will be followed soon with the
launch of Splash in Egypt later this month.
The second Splash store is already on the
cards with the next store scheduled for launch
in Bangalore's M.G. Road within the coming
quarter. Splash has big plans for India but
will work on a strategic way forward based on
its performance over the coming year. The
prime focus however will be on launching the
brand in clusters in India's key metros.
