K.S..Raju,the only son of Nagarjuna Group's founder K.V.K.Raju has steered Nagarjuna  Group into diverse fields after the death of his illustrious father. It has always been tough to live that maturity and ease earning in the process, the praise of his contemporaries.

As far as the history of the Group goes,Nagarjuna Group was founded by K.V.K.Raju(1928-1993).After working with Union Carbidge for 17 years,he began his second career at the age of 48 years when Nagarjuna Steel came into being and was incorporated in 1974 with a paid-up capital of only 2.11crore.Being a professional engineer,he was able to set up the factory in only 18 months-a record.

Taking on the reigns o f the Company was a cake walk for Mr.K.S.Raju.He has been involved with the group from the very beginning. Like his father, he has also gone through the tricks and tribulations of the group's business development.

NAGARJUNA FERTILIZER AND CHEMICALS LIMITED (NFCL)  is the flagship Company of the Nagarjuna Group. Its plant in the southern Indian state of Andhra Pradesh, has an installed capacity of 500,000 MT of Urea and 300,000 MT of Ammonia The state-of-the-art gas-based plant in the port town of Kakinada, about 550 Kms  east of capital Hyderabad, has been built in technical collaboration with Snamprogetti, Italy and Haldor Topsoe, Denmark. The ISO 9002 company is involved in marketing the full range of farm inputs. Whereas Urea is manufactured in the company's plant, pesticides are the products of the Group companies.The Agri Output Division and Seeds Division help the farmers enhance productivity. 

The other companies of the Group are NAGARJUNA AGRICHEM LIMITED (NACL) set up in Srikakulam district of Andhra Pradesh, manufactures technicals used in pesticides like Monocrotophos (MCP), with technology from IICT, Vijayalakshmi Insecticides & Pesticides Limited, taken over in 1991 by the Group, is one of the  few companies which has composite facilities to make all varieties of pesticides formulations at a single location.

Nagajuna Palma India Limited (NIPL), was established in 1994 as a joint venture  company between Nagarjuna Fertilizers & Chemicals Ltd., the flagship company of the Nagarjuna Group and a consortium of Israeli companies, in order to provide the  latest and widest range of micro irrigation systems and services to the farmers.

NAGARJUNA AGRICULTURAL RESEARCH & DEVELOPMENT INSTITUTE (NARDI)  was established in 1995 as a non-profit organization with the objective of helping farmers achieve better crop protection and improved yields.

NAGARJUNA HAIFA LIMITED is a joint venture between Nagarjuna Fertilizers and Chemicals Limited (NFCL) and world leader in Specialty Fertilizers, Haifa Chemicals Limited (HCL) of Israel.

At the INTERNATIONAL level the Group has the NAGARJUNA INTERNATIONAL  (VIETNAM) LIMITED Nagarjuna International (Vietnam) Limited is one of the rare 100% wholly owned foreign companies allowed by the Government of Vietnam.
