AP Tourism Invites proposals for developing Food courts at Necklace Road

  
               Andhra Pradesh Tourism Development Corporation(APTDC) proposes to offer the lakefront land at Buddha Purnima in the now famous Necklace Road, Hyderabad for the development of two Food Courts on License basis. The Necklace Road and the Buddha Purnima Landscape is a prime recreational tourist spot with breathtaking scenic beauty attracting large number of tourists in Hyderabad,with the HussainSagar adding to the leisure spot. The Buddha Purnima Lakefront Development Project has been conceived as one of the major areas in supporting a World City strategy for Hyderabad with particular emphasis in business, and other revenue generating and entertainment projects.

The key objective of the development of the lakefront are to enhance the profile of the HussainSagar Lake as a prime tourist attraction, provide world class business infrastructure that would generate adequate revenue for further development and maintenance, which would also maximize land value. The proposed Food Courts are an outcome of the vision.

APTDC invites proposals for pre-qualification from interested parties willing to invest an estimated project cost of around Rs.4 crores to develop, build, operate and maintain Food Courts 1 and 2,and the promenade connecting both.

The "Request for Qualification Document" detailing the eligibility criteria, bid terms & conditions and projects information may be obtained by interested parties from APTDC or download it from the AP Tourism's Website: www.aptourism.com

The last date for obtaining the Request for Qualification Document is 22nd september,2000.
