Indian School of Business
|
The Indian School of Business is a research-oriented independent management
institution that grooms future leaders for India and the world. Its partnership
with the Kellogg School of Management, The Wharton School, and London Business
School make it one of its kind in Asia. The School offers a one-year Post
Graduate Programme; short-duration, high-powered Executive Education programmes
for CEOs and senior executives; and a two-year Research Fellowship Programme.
The origins and distinctive research of our faculty members ensure that our
programme content is contemporary and global in its perspective, and develops
our students’ understanding of modern management opportunities and challenges. In 1996 an eminent group of
business leaders and academicians recognised the need for a globally top-ranked
and distinctive business school in Asia. They realised that the evolving
business scenario would require young leaders trained in the nuances of
transitional economies, yet exposed to a global perspective. The vision of the
founders was to create a school that was different in many ways – with
innovative academic programmes, and a world-class, yet affordable, overall value
proposition. Through their collective networks, the founders inspired the very
best in business and academia to see their vision and join their cause.

Placements Highlights - 2008 |
||||||||||||||
| Placements 2008 have been truly global at
the ISB with several leading and niche international companies visiting the
campus. The ISB has 100% lateral placements as all its students come with
prior work experience. This year a total of 81% students made remarkable
career shifts as well. This is the highest percentage of career shifts at
the ISB so far. Of the 81% career shifts, 50% were shifts both in function
and industry, 21% were career shifts in function and the remaining 10% were
shifts in industry. The ISB is following a non-disclosure policy regarding the highest international and domestic CTC, in keeping with the tradition followed by international B-schools; our focus is on the placement trends and information that represents the entire student body.
