MagnaQuest ties up with
Britannica for e-services
| MAGNAQUEST Technologies, a Hyderabad-based provider of IT solutions and services had tied up with Britannica.com India, to develop and execute a content management tool for Encyclopedia Britannica. The tie-up envisages the e-services division of MagnaQuest to execute directory-search engines solutions for the Internationally acclaimed encyclopedia. Magnaquest has formed a team of 60 consultants to provide customer support, cataloging and Web-based research to Britannica. The IT enabled e-services for Encyclopedia Britannica would help MagnaQuest generate revenues of Rs 18 lakh per month. Magnaquest, with three subsidiaries and a US affiliate, as major B2B and B2C initiatives in chemicals, infotainment and environment. MagnaQuest has plan to develop one of its customized solutions for the cable television management in Arabian Gulf and Latin American markets. The company has developed and implemented subscriber management system, 'MQsubscribe' with direct-to-home service provider Global Direct TV in Kuwait. The system envisages the cable TV distribution management for 40 users with more than 40,000 members in Kuwait. The current solution takes care of customer management, care and billing aspects for pay channels. The company is also exploring other avenues to market 'MQsubscribe' in the entire Gulf region and Latin American markets. -21st July'00 |
