 C.M. ORDERS FOR CBI ENQUIRY INTO VATOLI INCIDENT

Hyderabad|India|12th'October'2008: Chief Minister Dr.Y.S.Rajasekhara Reddy strongly condemned the ghastly incident of Vatoli village of Adilabad district in which entire family of six members was burnt alive in a house on Sunday.

The Chief Minister who reviewed the incidents taking place for the last two days in Bhainsa and surrounding villages in Adilabad district with the Home Minister, K.Jana Reddy, DGP S.S.P.Yadav and senior officials, decided to entrust the case of Vatoli incident to CBI.


After discussing the case with local leaders of both communities in Adilabad, the Home Minister Mr.K.Jana Reddy who rushed to the district to personally review the situation there, recommended for transfer of this case to CBI immediately for which the Chief Minister readily agreed.

The Chief Minister also directed the police to form special investigating teams to enquire into the incidents of Bhainsa. The Government has also announced judicial enquiry into the incidents which occurred on 10th at Bhainsa. He directed the police to act tough and take stringent action on anti social elements. He said that truth should come out ultimately and ensure that no innocent person should suffer in the process.


The Chief Minister appealed to all the sections of people of Adilabad District to observe restraint and to be vigilant against all rumours being spread by some ante-social elements and help in maintaining peace and harmony in the District.
