Hyderabad|India|Sept'2008: The Hyderabad city police with the help of NIC officials, PCS has launched a  people friendly website on Hyderabad by Sri K. Jana Reddy the Hon’ble Home Minister of Andhra Pradesh.

While launching the police website the Home Minister described it as people friendly website that bridges good relation with public and provides vast information in all fields including law and order, crime, traffic, emergency services, cyber frauds and other useful information to the public.

Sri K. Aravind Rao IPS, Addl. D.G. Intelligence of AP who attended the police website launching ceremony described it as one of the best websites in the country which guides the public in their daily life.

Sri B.Prasada Rao IPS, Commissioner of Police, Hyderabad City, who presided over the Hyderabad police website launching ceremony opined that the website containing the information not only about police but also gives the information what exactly public needs and what they need to know including their certificates i.e. passport, verification certificates and licenses etc. Home Minister, distributed Appreciation Certificates to all those who contributed to the creation of this website.

Sri. Dr. R.S. Praveen Kumar IPS, Dy. Commissioner of Police, Detective Department, Hyderabad City, gave a power point presentation about the features of Hyderabad police website.
