City-based portal Reachout-Out Business network has entered into a service
agreement with Taruni Technovision Pvt Ltd for providing city specific information
to cellular operators through its chain of city specific portals. Taruni
Technovision is a
major WAP and non-WAP, mobile data service provider to cellular companies
in India. ReachoutHyderabad.com is a two year old Hyderabad-based portal
offering a wide range of information and news pertaining to cities.
Currently it provides services to the mobile subscribers through the SMS (Short Message Services) facility. The information provided includes city engagements, rent-a-car details, city movies, restaurants, air and train timings, etc. It is also entering into similar SMS tie-up with other cellular operators in the country. The portals are shortly going to the WAP-enabled for the mobile users and are positioning into cater to the wireless users. DIGITAL AGE
