Hi,

My name is Krishna Manda and I have been working to Japan, Tokyo in the software industry for the past three years.

I would like to add the importance of IT as the major economic tie between the two countries. Right now I am working in a big Japanese firm and for the past two years I have been concentrating on outsourcing to India as a major job. It is not very difficult to generate business from the IT perspective in Japan as long as there is somebody to drive this relationship. Major
players like Infosys, TCS etc have been playing a driving force but I think that there should be somebody who , knowing both the languages, cultures and all these big players should drive this. I am really interested in driving the relation between the two countries and the major Japanese companies like the banks and the manufacturing industries are reluctant to do the same because of factors like the language culture etc. But educating these companies of the cost saving benefits and the quality products will improve and also result in better investment into india for software. I would like to propose this idea and I think I can help in the same.

With the visit of the prime minister to India it seems that the talks were leading to realization by India that China is overtaking India in a big way.It is time for us to prove our potential to Japan and what better place to start than the IT industry.

I think we can together improve the relations between the two countries

I am interested in setting up a power Microelectronics Industry in India - preferably Hyderabad. In the first phase, it is intended to be a design Centre and using the facilities in India to design, fabricate and advance power semiconductor products in India. These advanced devices can result in lower losses in all drive/control applications.

Could you please send me details as to how I can start this process? I am not clear of the processes and procedures involved. It is equally possible that I can get a SME in UK to support me in the venture.
