Hyderabad:Nationally acclaimed institute for Fashion/Interior and Textile Designing Heights Institute of Fashion & Technology comes to city. With over 115 centres in 16 states across India, the Hyderabad centre is established here in city at Ameerpet. The new centre was inaugurated recently by Mr. S.P.Y. Reddy, Member of Parliament from Nandyal.

Speaking immediately after the inauguration Ms.Pushyami, Director of the newly inaugurated centre
said the aim of the centre is to train students to respond competently and confidently to the economic,social and organizational challenges arising from a rapidly advancing technology, a shifting economic base and a global market place and to enhance the capabilities of organization through research and consultancy.

Further Ms. Pushyami added that the modern women don’t like to sit idle. They want to be distinct, stand up on their own feet. And they have already proved their mettle many times. Keeping this in mind, the centre wants to provide a platform and a meaningful career to
the Indian women.

The courses being offered by the Institute include Fashion Designing courses including Textile Science,Interior Designing (2 months to 2 years), Multimedia (6 months to 18 months) and Computer Education (1 month to 3 years) among other.

The courses are specially designed to develop and enhance the basic IT skills and abilities of students and to equip them with appropriate tools of modern work corporate environment and developing communication skills among them.

state-of-the art knowledge of staff, the best in equipment engaged and highest order of computer
technology consultancy and above all a very positive approach to education, informed Mr. Vikram Singh,Marketing Manager of the Institute from Delhi.

Among others who graced the inaugural function include Smt. M. Seshagiri Rao, Social Worker; Smt.Suguna, Vikram Singh and Cine Actress Ms. Swathi Priya.
