Second phase of Hitec city begins
Hyderabad,: The second phase of Hitec
City, was formally launched at Madhapur.The Cyber Gateway, Proposed
to be at a cost around Rs.266 crores, would offer 8.67 lakh square feet of built-up
space comprising four blocks developed on eight acres of land. The
first block of 2.3 lakh sq.ft would be ready for occupation by February next
year, according to A.Ramakrishna,deputy managing director L&T who formally launched cyber Gateway here on Friday.
One subsequent block each would be completed every six months. The
building would have all the
facilities required for IT companies like power supply,
centralised air conditioning, data and
voice connectivity and building automation. It would be able to house both small and big business
as the spaces would be available in the range of 17,000 sq.ft and 36000 sq.ft.Outright purchase rate for Cyber Gateway would be Rs.3,150 per sq.ft.Hitec City offers the best
value for money choice for IT companies to set up shop. The cost would be at least 20 per cent
higher in other similar facilities in the country.
Companies like GE Capital International Services, Ocean Information Services,Archean Infotech
have already booked spaces in Cyber Gateway. The first phase of the
project, the Cyber Towers,
had been developed on a six acres plot offering a built up space of 5.8 lakh sq.ft and had been
completed in record 15 months. Apart from built up space, L&T Infocity would offer independent
plots for IT companies to build their own facilities.
