NetXcell in strategic tie-up with Mobilent, Malaysia
Targets Asia-Pacific Markets

Hyderabad, February, 2002: Continuing its efforts at increasing the reach of their services and consolidating their foot hold globally, NetXcell - the complete wireless application Service provider, announced it's strategic tie-up with Malaysian based Mobilent, a leading location based service provider in the mobile and GPS arena, to provide Technology & Applications based services.

This tie-up will enable NetXcell to integrate its technology - in mobile applications, solutions and interfacing - with Mobilent's products and provide the Asia - Pacific markets with Customised products. As a part of the tie-up NetXcell will also extend its products in the mobile arena including the mobile servers, Interactive voice response products, WAP based and SMS based products and services to customers through Mobilent, which has offices in Malaysia and Singapore.

Mobilent is one of the shortlisted companies to offer location-based services to the Automatic Vehicle Location project in Malaysia. NetXcell-through Mobilent - will offer its technical expertise of providing mobile interfacing for this project which is the key factor for the success of the project.
