Raman Computers announces major
foray into Andhra Pradesh

Hyderabad, August, 2004:
Raman Computers Private Limited (RCPL), a
pioneer in IT Education has announced a major foray into Andhra Pradesh. In
a ceremony here , Mr.S.V.Venkatesh, CEO of RCPL donated a copy of the latest
version of their Institution Management Software, EDUSYS, to representatives
of Divya Disha, a voluntary organization working towards empowerment of
Children and Youth. EDUSYS aims at empowering and strengthening educational
institutions by reducing paperwork in their functioning.
Announcing Raman Computers' expansion plans for Andhra Pradesh,
Mr.S.V.Venkatesh, CEO of RCPL said, "There is considerable gap between the
needs of the industry and the capabilities of job aspirants in today's IT
world. In what we believe will be the finishing school that bridges this
gap, we plan to introduce Job- Oriented curriculums that will give job
aspirants the cutting edge in the latest technology. We plan to offer
courses for the latest technologies including Dotnet, J2EE, Hardware &
Networking and Graphic Design."
Mr. Venkatesh also said that the time has now come for Raman Computers
expand beyond Karnataka, its current stronghold, to all the other south
Indian states. He indicated that the role of Andhra Pradesh would be very
significant in Raman Computers' scheme of things. In next 2 years Raman
Computers plans to have centers in all the districts of Andhra Pradesh.
Talking about the USP's of EDUSYS, Mr.S.V.Venkatesh, CEO of RCPL said,
"Educational Institutions spend a lot of time and resources in managing data
dealing with their administrative work. EDUSYS - An Institution Management
Software that aims at promoting paperless educational institutions will
relieve them of this burden and help them concentrate more on academics
rather than on administration. Keeping in mind the compatibility issues with
Telugu medium schools, we have a Telugu version of the software."
Edusys is targeted at educational institutions that play a leading role in
shaping the future of young citizens. The institutions have the added
advantage of integrating various functional areas to maintain transparency
and availability of right information at the right time. The software
package caters to both schools and colleges.
