New Facility of Satyam Venture Engineering Services Inaugurated. 

Hyderabad,  August, 2001 : Satyam Venture Engineering Services (SVES) announced  the inauguration of its new facility at Hyderabad by Mr. Kishore Pendse, Vice President, Technology, TRW Inc., USA. SVES is a 50:50 joint venture between Satyam Computer Services Ltd. and Venture Industries, USA. 

The 25,000 sq ft. facility also includes a dedicated India Development Center (IDC) for TRW which was inaugurated by Mr. Roger Rowland, Director, TRW-Satyam Relationship. 

SVES offers a One-stop-shop for CAD/CAM/CAE services for the automotive industry with 24 hours engineering services around the world. Customers are provided the entire Product Design and Development cycle, which includes Digital Prototyping (CAD), Simulation (CAE) and Manufacturing (CAM, CIM); CAD/CAM/CAE Software Customization; Manufacturing Process Automation and PDM implementation & customization. 

In his address to the gathering, Mr. B. Rama Raju, Managing Director of Satyam Computer Services Ltd., and Chairman of the SVES joint venture, remarked, "We are delighted that senior executives from TRW were here specially for the inauguration. We value the professionalism and close interaction that marks our relationship. The quality and dedication of our people is the greatest strength of Satyam. When you combine this with world-class infrastructure such as the one inaugurated today, it allows us to provide, what we refer to as Customer Delight." 

Speaking on the occasion, Mr. Roger Rowland, Director, TRW-Satyam Relationship, said, "The new Center is outstanding. It is amazing what can be achieved when two companies like Satyam and TRW work together. In less than six months, we have achieved most of what we wish to accomplish in a year. This is just the beginning of our relationship with Satyam, and many more exciting things are bound to follow." 

Mr. Kishore Pendse added, "The IDC for TRW is remarkable. The growth of our team has come through hard work. By continuing to expand our competencies and enhance our value-addition proposition, SVES can look forward to more opportunities from TRW."
