ESC India 2008 witnesses successful debut in
Hyderabad
Hyderabad,India September,2008:
UBM India successfully concluded the first phase of the series of Embedded
Systems Conference in Hyderabad . The two day conference received an
overwhelming response from both the design engineers as well as software
developers and was attended by over 100 delegates.
“The response we received in Hyderabad has been very encouraging,” said
Sajid Desai, Publisher and Director, UBM India Pvt. Ltd. “The exhibitors,
delegates had in-depth discussions with the speakers on the upcoming
technologies in the embedded design market and how they could use the newest
technologies and incorporate them in their designs.”
ESC Hyderabad, which took place at The International Convention Centre, had
interactive presentations by a host of renowned industry experts.
Bob Zeidman, President, Zeidman Consulting spoke on Verilog, a widely used
and standardized HDL (Hardware Description Language), and the ways in which
it can be used to design anything from the simplest PAL to a sophisticated
ASIC.
Amitabha Sinha, Professor and Director, West Bengal Institute of Technology
enlightened the audience on a Re-Configurable DSP Processor for Software
Defined Radio.
Gopalkrishna Gadde, Software Engineer, Satyam Computer Services said, “ It
is probably safe to say that no communication is guaranteed secure in this
sense, although practical limitations such as legislation, resources,
technical issues, and the sheer volume of communication are limiting factors
to surveillance”, sharing his views on Security.
“We are looking forward to the similar response from the other cities
keeping in mind the rapidly growing Indian embedded market,” added Desai.
