'Dashavatar'

Kamal Hassan always comes up with something up his sleeves and this time its 'Dasgavatar' which is quite an interesting watch for the kind of varied roles that he has done.

There are several contrasting roles played by Kamal Hassan in the movie, in which he plays  George Bush (US President),Balaraman,A Brahmin,A Tall Afghan,A Lankan Tamil, An Old Lady,A Doctor,A Police Officer,A Japanese and a sardar.Its quite interesting to see each of the characters unfold one by one throughout the film.

The entire graphics is taken care by Hong Kong-based VA which did the graphics for the film “Day After Tomorrow”. The highlight of the flilm is the awesome tsunami effect on a two-acre spread artificially created and filmed in Chennai. About 50 Hollywood technicians had to be brought from US to train local technicians. For the visual effects, Bryan from Los Angeles had come to work with the unit.The tsunami scene is mind -blowing never ever seen on the Indian Silver screen.

Dasavathar" is a show of grandeur. Kamal makes it beyond the ordinary. His sheer audacity, magnificence and histrionics are simply spellbinding. And creativity is given new dimensions.
The one and only Kamal shows his versatility in all the roles. Interesting watch!
