Rakta Charitra is a biographical tale of Paritala Ravi from
Andhra Pradesh, a prime accused in a number of murder cases. It is the
story of a man`s phenomenal rise to power and a story of the most intense
blood curdling conflict ever heard of between two individuals. Moreover,
the story is also the ultimate statement on the often heard disastrous
consequences of a fatal mixture of caste, crime, family feuds and
politics. |
This One is one of the most hard hitting, gory and completely bloody film
seen offlate. RGV is certainly going to get some of his glory back with
this movie.
Bukka Reddy played by Abhimanyu Singh was the highlight of this movie. He
redefined savagery and obsession with violence to an altogether different
level.Abhimanyu Singh who has given a sterling performance is receiving
rave reviews all over. looks like after Sholay Gabbar Singh this is "the
role played by a villan".Abhimanyu Singh as Bukka Reddy has indeed sent
shivers all over.
Viviek also played his part superbly and matched Abhimanyu to some extent.
Selection of side artist was dangerously mind boggling with a bunch of
notorious and ugly looking hoodlums.
Shotgun as NTR portrayed the charismatic leader very aptly including a
heavy Hyderabadi accent
The bad part was inclusion of one song which was unnecessary and a
extremely loud and jarring and totally raspy background narration. God
knows how RGV let it through.
RC-2 teaser shown in the lend promises to be equally or even better with
Surya as the main protagonist. Knowing his intense acting prowess, it
should be pretty interesting to see his duel with Vivek.
If your tired of watching the flurry of mushy movies released off late,
you will love this nail on your head movie.
Go watch it !!!
