Rakta Charitra is a biographical tale of Paritala Ravi from Andhra Pradesh, a prime accused in a number of murder cases. It is the story of a man`s phenomenal rise to power and a story of the most intense blood curdling conflict ever heard of between two individuals. Moreover, the story is also the ultimate statement on the often heard disastrous consequences of a fatal mixture of caste, crime, family feuds and politics.

People have been looking forward for the release of RC2 as the first part had ignited much passions among the people especially of AP as its their regional story.RC2 is not a disappointment and the sage continues with the entry of Surya. RC2 though not much on violence has got enough emotions!

The highlight of the film is the direction of verma and also the camera work that has captured the film onto a different canvas. Surya has been given a powerful role and he pulls it off very well.

Though not RGV's best, but still it stands on its own.RC1 & RC2 is definitely a collectors delight!
