If one were to go by its trailers, this movie was a 'see or die' kind of a
movie. Especially its website campaign is indeed splendid and above all the Big B's omnipotent
picture sitting like a shenshah has been tickling the curiosity of his fans all over.
Aks is a psychological thriller. It opens with a police officer called Manu Verma (Amitabh Bachchan) who is hot in pursuit of a psychotic criminal called Raghvan brilliantly played by Manoj Bajpai.

Raveena Tandon is a hot club dancer with oomph in abundance and a past that involved with Raghvan.Manu only mission is to catch
Raghvan who is on a killing spree and he finally succumbs to
Manu. Then suddenly there is a turning point where Bachchan and Bajpai's souls interchange bodies.Bajpai suddenly dons a new identity and the rest is quite engrossing.
Aks is indeed a classic movie and the performance of Amitabh and Manoj Bajpai is bound to pick up couple of
awards. As far as Amitabh is concerned after 'Agnipath' this is his second best performance ever and this time its not the superstar in
action, its the artist called Amitabh who is in action.
Manoj Bajpai takes off from where Nana Patekar left off in "Parinda" and such has been his
histrionics that even Amitabh at times fails to ape him.

The films director is a famous adman and music Video Director who did the popular 'Eir Bir Phatte’
album with Amitabh and the famous Aby-Baby kind of a song is also part of
Aks.
Nandita Das is wasted as an artist and is awfully paired opposite
Amitabh.
Aks is quite a mystic movie recommended only for those looking
for some serious stuff. As far as Amitabh fans are concerned
they just cannot ask for more.
