Dhaai Akshar Prem Ke

Abhishek Bachchan, Aishwarya Rai, Anupam Kher and Amrish Puri
Director Raj Kanwar
Producer Raj Kanwar
Music Jatin-Lalit

This is Abhishek Bachchan's  third release of his career and this time around he has been paired with the hottest heroine of Bollywood, Aishwarya Rai .The casting coup was indeed a much awaited event for the entire industry and one will have to wait and watch whether their combined magic would work on the silver screen.

With Papa Bachan  cooling his head in the house of Star Plus's 'Kaun Banega Crorepati' its now upto Abhishek Bachchan to resurrect the larger than life image of his father Abhishek Bachchan. Looks like unlike Amithabh Bachchan ,Abhishek Bachchan doest seem to get the right director to give a fillip to his  other wise fading career. None of his earlier films  were a hit and now his fate will depend largely on the fortunes of this movie.
A lift from Keanu Reeves "A Walk In the Clouds, 'Dhaai Akshar Prem Ke' is a love story based on relationship. Aishwarya plays a Rajput daughter and Abhishek an army officer in the film. Both play roles that are akin to their real-life personalities -- she, emotional and expressive, he, intense and shy. The love story about Karan (Abhishek), an Army captain, who poses as the husband of Sahiban (Aishwarya Rai) to bail her in distress. When her family goes for an arranged marriage for her, Sahiban lies to her folks saying she has secretly married a boy. A mix-up of circumstances follows, and her family thinks Karan is Sahiban's husband. For a while, Karan decides to play along.

Then onwards love blossoms between them and they get closer day by day . Then there is Sonali Bendre ( Nisha), whom Karan secretly loves ,but she treats him just as a friend and after a couple of reels are wasted between them then ultimately what happens is anybody's guess, so often repeated in Bollywood movies.

With the hottest pair in town, Director Raj Kanwar fails to deliver his shots in giving the right direction .Why blame the stars when the Directors are not able to give the right Direction to movies!
