Har Dil Jo Pyar Karega
|Cast||:Salman Khan, Preity Zinta, Rani Mukherjee, Paresh Rawal|
Director Raj Kanwar has lifted the story from two Hollywood hits-'While you were sleeping' and 'The Wedding Singer'. The story has ready been lifted by Priyadarshan in the Malayalam hit 'Chandralekha' and maybe due to its hit in South India, it is doing the rounds in Bollywood. Anyway to hell with originality, its time to talk about the masala that has been added by our bollywood directors.
Har Dil Jo Pyar Karega is a love triangle. Raj (Salman Khan) arrives in Mumbai from Goa to fulfill his dream of becoming a top singer. After a long struggle, he realizes that he is unable to fulfill his dreams and when he is about to leave Mumbai , he happens to save the life of Pooja (Rani Mukherjee), in an accident. Even as the girl goes into a coma after the mishap, her affluent family mistakes Raj to be Pooja's boy friend, Romy.
Raj realizes that it is a God sent opportunity for realizing his dreams
and so he plays on. Subsequently he meets Jahnvi (Preity Zinta), Pooja's best friend, and its love at first sight
He is in a dilemma and is forced to make a choice between the two women in his life!.
Should he reveal his identity or give up his ambition to be a singer...
Find it out yourself!!
Salman Khan, as usual is ready to take off his shirt at the slightest pretext and keeping that in mind he always compromises on his acting. And so what do you see? Lots of jumping all over and it is believed that inspite of taking off his shirt very often, it is reported that the costume budget of the movie has come to around one crore. Any idea why? Preity Zinta takes off from where she left from "Kya kehana" and has given a cute performance and Rani Mukherjee fans can look forward for a big disappointment.
Anu Malik’s music is worth listening. The title track, ‘Aisa Pehli Baar Hua Hain’ and ‘Ek Garam Chai Ki Pyali Ho’, are the highlights of the movie.
Salmans usual fans and Preity's fans may pick up their popcorns and cool drinks to have a swing at the theatre. Others can take a risk....
