Review of
Hum Kisise Kum Nahin

David Dhawan,the 'king of comedy' has for once abandoned his favorite actor, Govinda, and has opted instead for the likes of Amitabh Bachchan, Ajay Devgan, Sanjay Dutt and Aishwarya Rai in this film.

Its a take off on "Analyze This' starring Robert De Niro, the story of HKKN is based on an underworld don, Munnabhai (Sanjay Dutt) who falls in love with Aishwarya and then its so happens that he loses his grip over his underworld activities as he is haunted by Aishwarya Rai.He is then taken to Dr.Rastogi (Amitabh Bachan) who impresses him with his valuable tips how to woo his lady love.
But midway Amitabh realises that the girl on whom the Don has fallen in love is none other than his own sister...Hum Kisise Kum Nahin.

Aishwarya Rai is actually in love with Raja(Ajay Devjan) and he is also smart enough to take Amitabh and Sanjay Dutt for a ride. Ultimately who wins and who loses is the story of 'Hum Kisise Kum Nahin'.

Ajay Devgun has a very irritating role and is no where near to his superlative performance in 'Company'. The same applies to Aishwarya Rai who is just made to stand here and there. Amitabh is tall enough to be Aishwarya Rai's father, but then the director prefers him to be her brother which is absolutely ridiculous. Anyway Amitabh is too light and at times he looks very funny. Sanjay Dutt is the highlight of the movie.

Overall David Dhawan fails to deliver his trademark comedy stuff.
