Rizwan Khan is a Muslim child who grew up with his mother (Zarina Wahab) in the Borivali section of Mumbai. Rizwan has Asperger syndrome. As an adult Rizwan (Shahrukh Khan) falls in love with a Hindu single mother, Mandira (Kajol) who lives in San Francisco. While not focusing on the events of 9/11, the storyline explores the period afterwards. At that time, authorities arrest and detain Rizwan, after interpreting the visible aspects of his condition as "suspicious" behavior. After his arrest, he meets Radha (Sheetal Menon), a therapist who helps him overcome the ordeal.

The response to this film has been mixed. Some are liking it like anything while others are sayings its not worth it.Quite a mixed response going around for this film. Shah Rukh Khan does a Forrest Gump kind of a role on a mission to meet the president of the United States to say that "My name is Khan and Iam not a terrorist". Overall the movie doesnt have much entertainment value. Its quite a humanitarian film which might cater to the world audience.
Will have to wait for the box office results about the fate of this film!!
