A Big movie has has been released after a very long time and with no major releases around, this one for sure seems to draw everybody's
attention. This movie had been in the controversy of
"Chori Cori Chupke Chupke" and now with the eclipse of
"CCCC",there seems to be no other major challenge for
"Raju Chacha".Well for Raju Chacha the challenge seems to be within the film itself as he is in the
midst of a naughty set of children.
Sidhant Rai (Rishi Kapoor) is a successful architect, who employs Anna
(Kajol) as a governess for his three naughty kids. In no time, the no-nonsense Anna has fixed up the kids, what's more the pranksters like to the new governess. But that much is the least of Sidhant's troubles. He isn't aware of the machinations of his maternal uncle
(Govind Namdev) and his brothers-in-law, who happen to be Sidhant's business associates too.

Meanwhile Shekhar (Ajay Devgan), a petty thief and conman, mistakes Anna to be a relative of the billionaire Sidhant and woos her in his own hilarious way. Anna falls for Shekhar and just when you thought things would be wrapped up even before interval, twists occur in the plot. Sidhant is killed and the police nab Shekhar for his past crimes. Shekhar must now pose as Raju Chacha, Sidhant's long-lost brother, to rescue of the kids and Anna from the villains.
Raju Chacha seems inspired by several English films. The scenes involving Anna and the kids remind you of The Sound Of Music, the initial portions bear a close resemblance with Lion King and there are portions that seem borrowed from Home Alone too.
The producers have spent lavishly on the production. The film has a large canvas and the money spent is visible in every frame. Cinematography is outstanding.
With Christmas and New Year mood all over the country, this
movie with all its extravagance is sure to please the festive public all over.
