Shreyas Talpade and Amrita Rao play village folk in this comedy flick by noted film-maker Shyam Benegal. Mahadev (Shreyas) makes a living by writing socially influencing letters much to the delight of the other villagers, most of them illiterate. The film uses satire to highlight the problems/inadequacies of a contemporary Indian village. Welcome to Sajjanpur is a must-watch if Benegal movies like Zubeida and Suraj Ka Saatva Ghoda have enthralled you in the past.
