Hyderabad|India|November'2010: Andhra Pradesh Tourism launched the AP Tourism Film Directory at the 41st India International Film Festival in Goa. In the inaugural event, Dadasaheb Phalke Award winner, A. Rama Naidu released the Film Directory. Present on the occasion were Mr. Jayesh Ranjan IAS, Secretary of Tourism and Sri.C Parthasarathi IAS, Commissioner of Information and Public Relations. The event was graced by film makers from across the globe.

The AP Tourism Film Directory is a film maker’s ultimate guide to shooting in Andhra Pradesh. The Directory contains all details on the infinite idyllic locations, production, post-production facilities and amenities spread across the state. A visual extravaganza containing detailed information about the district-wise locations, conveyance and accommodation details.

The Directory contains a touching foreword by legendary actor Shri. Akkineni Nageswara Rao. Also, the history of the Telugu film industry from the silent era to the setting up of the iconic studios is narrated. The book includes details of the new age studios in the capital city which provides cutting edge technology and facilities - bringing about a revolution in the film making process. The Directory will be a cover to cover delight to every film maker who is planning to schedule their shoot in Andhra Pradesh.
