organise Certificate Program in Psychological
Counseling Skills in city
Hyderabad|India|May '2011: A three month part
time program--Art & Science of Empowerment, a
Certificate Program in Psychological Counseling
Skills is announced. An initiative of AADI & Inner
Horizons, the batch will commence from June 18,
2011. The classes will be held at Centre for
Organisation & Development (COD) at Madhapur,
Hyderabad. The classes will be held part time for
3 months, every Saturday 8 AM to 12 Noon and
Tuesday 5 PM to 8 PM.
Sujata Potay, a clinical Psychologist, a reputed
leader in the field of counseling, psychotherapy
and workshop facilitation for over 19 years will
facilitate the program. She is founder and
director of Inner Horizons Center for Conscious
Living, whose mission is to train, assist,
support, mentor, nurture, coach and guide
individuals and groups who are professionally or
informally engaged in the pursuit of WHOLENESS’.
This is targeted at Individuals interested in
offering counseling support and also listening and
helping others solve their issues and jobs
requiring people skills; Managers requiring
conflict resolution skills, and employee
relations. Only limited number of 40 participants
will be allowed in a batch.
The objective of the program is to Increase the
count of employable professionals through
customized skill enhancement, all round
personality enrichment and responsive career
guidance, informed Sujata Potay.
A Gold Medalist from Osmania University for Master
in Psychology M.Phil in Clinical Psychology from
the prestigious National Institute of Mental
Health and Neuro-Sciences (NIMHANS), Bengaluru,
Sujata Potay is a Life Member or Fellow of reputed
professional bodies in her field.
In addition to being a certified Louise Hay Heal
Your Life workshop leader, she periodically
conducts her own personal growth and couples
workshops. In the corporate world, her workshops
on Leadership, Communication, Counseling and
Mentoring have been highly sought after.
During her 5 year stay in the United States,
besides teaching psychology and counseling at a
local institute, Sujata obtained training in
Kinesiology, Hypnotherapy and Past-Life Regression
with the world renowned Dr. Brian Weiss and Dr.
Roger Woolger.
‘Art & Science of Empowerment’ is Sujata Potay's
brain child which has graduated over 200 students
over the last 15 years spanning 13 Batches. This
program was originated in 1995 as a
first-of-its-kind training program for
psychological counselors. It has had life-changing
impact on people from all walks of life.
