(acronym for Computerized Learning, Evaluation and Review System), a
revolutionary interactive software developed by Learning Accord India
Limited (a sister concern of Learning Accord (LA), a New York-based
software company specializing in knowledge transfer technology) is
launched in Andhra Pradesh. CLEaRS is the world’s first and only 4th
Generation Knowledge Management System. It is Bidirectional, Proactively
Reactive and Intelligently Interactive; customizing itself to each
individual student automatically said Retd. Admiral Mr. B. R. Vasanth, CEO
- Learning Accord India Ltd. The CLEaRS knowledge transfer system helps
students in preparing for entrance exams such as EAMCET, IIT, AIEEE, AIIMS,
AFMS, JIMPER, etc. and all other Medical and Engineering Entrance tests

Distributors for CLEaRS in Andhra Pradesh. The product range in two
versions i.e. ‘CLEaRS Mock Tests’ and ‘CLEaRS Full Version’ are priced at
Rs.2500/- and Rs.5000/- respectively.
The unique feature of the
software is that unlike other conventional
learning systems, CLEaRS continuously evaluates
and adjusts to the student’s learning level, based
on real-time feedback. CLEaRS has its own
indigenous, structured knowledge bank for
incremental learning, which was created with the
dedication of professors, computer specialists,
statisticians, psychologists and many other
support personnel. Recently Learning Accord has
introduced CLEaRS for MAHE (Manipal University
Admission Test).
CLEaRS has the largest knowledge database of 65367
graded interactively reactive multiple choice questions with 9775
concepts, 142 constants, 1363 equations, 235 laws, 100 +animations
exhaustively explained in 21894 tutorials, 2,27,894 hyperlinks that
interconnect all questions to knowledge units. The software addresses both
objective and subjective questions. It also helps parents to track the
student’s progress and his study hours. The progress reports are Real time
with chapter wise analysis of students knowledge levels and the Mock tests
which can be taken till the last day of the exam aid remedial learning,
informed Mr. Sankar. It is so extensive that you will not need to buy any
supplementary preparation materials, he added.
The Computer based Interactive Teaching System was
developed by a 100+ member team of educationists, designers, programmers,
psychologists and statisticians led by Mr. Vasanth, who was instrumental
in computerizing the Karnataka Common Entrance Test (KCET) in 1984.
Mr. Vasanth said the software has been extensively tested in educational
institutions in South Karnataka and adopted by a number of institutions
like Ramakrishna mission in west Bengal as part of the students’ learning
supplement. LA has a similar product for Medical Common Admission Test (MCAT),
a pivotal qualifying test to get admission in USA and Canada. The product
is a market leader with about ten percent of the exam takers buying the
software.
