Hyderabad,July 2012: The Federation of Andhra Pradesh Chambers of Commerce & Industry (FAPCCI) presented the following awards on 23rd July 2012 at its 94th Annual function in City.

1.Excellence in Industrial Productivity (Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru Silver Rolling Trophy) awarded to:Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd., Zaheerabad, Medak Dist.In recognition of their rate of growth of productivity, better availability of power, good measure of consistency in productivity. 

2.Excellence in All Round Performance (The Amancherla Ramamurthy Silver Rolling Trophy) - Instituted by VBC Industries Ltd., Hyderabad awarded to Pennar Industries Limited, Patancheru, Medak Dist In recognition of their all round performance such as capacity utilization, machine and manpower productivity, employee welfare, rural development, industrial relations, etc.

3.Excellence in Workers’ Welfare (Silver Rolling Trophy) -Instituted by Kesoram Cement, Basantnagar awarded to NCL Industries Ltd., Hyderabad In recognition of their outstanding Workers’ Welfare and Family Planning measures. 

4.Excellence in Research & Development (Silver Rolling Trophy) -Instituted by Spectra Shares & Scrips Ltd., Hyd awarded to Prathista Industries Ltd., Secunderabad In recognition of their efforts in the development of innovative, novel cost effective eco-friendly biological products.

5.Excellence in Research & Development (Small Scale Industry) (Silver Rolling Trophy) - Instituted by Elico Ltd., Hyderabad awarded to Microtorr Vacuum Systems Pvt.Ltd., Hyderabad In recognition of their Research and Development of new unique concept in non-consumable button & pan cake melting system. 

6.Outstanding Export Performance (Silver Rolling Trophy) -Instituted by Surana Group of Industries, Sec’bad awarded to Aptuit Laurus Pvt.Ltd., Hyderabad In recognition of their Outstanding Export Performance and engineering a better drug development process through scientific excellence, offering a broad and integrated portfolio of products & services to the global pharmaceutical industry. 

7.Outstanding Export Performance (Small Scale Industry) - (Raja Saheb of Itkyal Silver Rolling Trophy) - Instituted by Sri Ch.Venkateshwar Rao, Past-President, FAPCCI awarded to Getech Equipments International P.Ltd., Hyderabad In recognition of their outstanding efforts in manufacture and exports of
extensive range of Construction and Drilling machines at fast rate of growth and also development of new markets and also the quantum of exports as well as the foreign exchange.

8.Excellence in Product Innovation (Silver Rolling Trophy) - Instituted by MRF Ltd., Sadasivapet, Medak Dt awarded to Sparsha Pharma International Pvt.Ltd., Hyderabad In recognition for introducing transdermal drug delivery system, a relatively new method of releasing certain drugs into the body using a patch medium.           

9.Excellence in Product Innovation (Small Scale Industry) (Sri Dalchand Agarwal Memorial Silver Rolling Trophy) - Instituted by Sri Laxmi Prasad Agarwal, Chairman & Mg. Director, DSL Infrastructure & Space Developers Private Ltd., Hyderabad awarded to Sensa Core Medical Instrumentation P.Ltd., Hyderabad In recognition of their Innovation of electrolyte analyzer, used for determination of electrolytes in Whole Blood, Serum, Plasma and Urine Samples.

13.Outstanding Scientist or Engineer for the benefit of Industry, Trade or Agriculture (The Chelikani Atchuta Rao Cash Award of Rs.7001/-) -Instituted by late Sri C.V. Sitaramaswamy, Past-President, FAPCCI awarded to Sri Gundra Satheesh Reddy, (Scientist), Associate Director (S) & Technology Director-Inertial Systems, Research Centre Imarat, Hyd In recognition of his outstanding contribution to the science and  also to the development of an indigenous Ring Laser Gyro based INS+GPS+GLONASS System, used for underwater Missile Programs,
Strap down Reference System for Indian Navy, RLG based INS for BrahMos, etc.

Sitaramaswamy, Founder, Vijaya Memorial Foundation, Vizag awarded to Ms.Sudha Rani Chittari, Proprietor, Suda’s, Hyderabad In recognition of successfully running the unit involved in the manufacture of Garments, Ladies & Gentswear and also her efforts in
providing employment to the needy and poor women.

17.Outstanding Contribution for welfare of Socially/ Economically/Physically Challenged Women (Smt.
