Forever Jewellery forays into South India with Hyderabad store launch

Hyderabad|India: Forever Precious Jewellery and Diamonds Ltd., India’s leading diamond and jewellery manufacturers forays into South Indian market with the launch of a new store in Hyderabad. Part of the US $ 1 Billion Su-Raj Group Company, it has the chain of retail jewellery showrooms under the brand name ‘Forever Jewellery’. Forever now boasts of 143 retail outlets across 14 states and 36 cities.

The jewellery store in Hyderabad, located at Somajiguda in hub of jewellery stores, will offer a wide range in gold, diamond and wedding jewelry with the choice of more than thousands of exquisitely crafted designs from across the country to make it a one-stop shopping destination for fine jewellery. Mr. Jai Begani, Managing Director of the company said addressing a press conference in the city.

Our mission is to become India's no.1 corporate in precious jewellery and with the backing of Su-Raj Group. Forever Precious Jewellery and Diamonds Ltd projected a turnover of Rs 2500 crores for the financial year 2011 and 2012, said Mr. Jai Begani. The company has registered a turnover of Rs 1750crore in the last fiscal year closing March 31, 2011.

The Hyderabad showroom launch is part of the company’s strategic plans to expand its presence in the promising southern market of the country. In next three months we will add another store in Jubilee Hills in Hyderabad. Followed by this we will expand to Vijayawada and Vishakhapatnam in Andhra Pradesh. Then we will move into Tamil Nadu, said Mr. Begani. Forever plans to set up and service over 40 more outlets by the end of financial year 2011 and 2012 in cities like Nagpur, Gurgaon, Noida, Coimbatore, Surat, Bangalore, Allahabad etc. This expansion is taken up at an investment of Rs 800crore, he added.

The range of Forever encompasses stunning designs in Kolkata Filigree, Kundan & Polki, Designer Antique, Timeless Naqashi, Hyderabad Ruby and Emerald collections, Temple Jewellery, Fusion collection and exquisite Bridal Jewellery, plus exclusive diamond jewellery collections in distinctive designs, finish and superior quality.

Its five manufacturing units, armed with latest precision machines ensure quality of each of its creations. "We have integrated all our processes from sourcing of precious metals and stones to designing and value addition. This enables us to curb costs and provide absolute value for money products to our customers," informed Jai Begani.

‘Forever’ has immensely skilled designers and craftsmen. The team consists of 25 designers working across locations and develop more than 500 new designs every month with the help of the latest CAD/CAM facility. ‘Forever’ is also coming up with a New Design & Innovation Centre at Ahmedabad.
