Hyderabad Colleges win National Management Quiz Competition held in
city
Hyderabad|India|November'2010:
Hyderabad based IPE College students won first
prize in a VJIM-Fore School National Management Quiz Competition held here
in city. They won Rs 25,000/- as first prize. Another Hyderabad College
VJIM students won third prize and bagged Rs 10,000/-. Bangalore based New
Horizon College students stood second and won Rs 15,000/-.
The quiz organised as part of the two day Chrysalis well attended by over
125 Management Colleges from across India. Off which 50 colleges are from
twin cities of Hyderabad and Secunderabad. The Chrysalis concluded on
Saturday night. Mr. Narendranath, Osmania University Professor acted as a
Quiz Master.
FORE School of Management (FSM), the Delhi based Premium Management School
sponsored some prizes to the winners. Mr. Nirmalya Pal, Diector of New
Delhi based Debrin Synergy gave away the prizes to the winners.
Among other competitions held as part of the mangement students festival
include Business Plans presentation on Green Businesses and Paper
presentaitons on various topics related to emerging trends in Finance,
Marketing, HR and Operations.
Dr. Kamal Ghosh Ray, Director of VJIM said, “We are glad that Chrysalis
2010 is emerging as a major festival in calendar of all colleges. The
biggest achievement of the managing team was the CK Prahalad quiz, which
saw 125 colleges from around the country at its debut. Our philosophy that
‘students should start networking from the day he joins the management
program’ is clearly effective”
Prof Jitendra Das, Director, FORE School of Management said, “Festivals
like Chrysalis provides a platform for budding managers to rub shoulders
with the best minds from across the country. Chrysalis has given us a
harvest of memories and all of us are eagerly awaiting the next one
already.
