Hyderabad|India|August'2009: The city of the Nizams is turning fashionable now. Semana, Hyderabad Fashion Week to be held in Hyderabad for three days from September 9th to 11th.

The names of the twenty designers who will be a part of the Fashion Week on 9th, 10th and 11th September will be announced by the 25th of August. Some really big names are

expected to be there; and Raghav of Marvel Events, who will be organising the Fashion Week is currently keeping the final names under tabs. However; designer Archana Kochhar will be doing the finale.

Archana Kochhar has been showcasing her creations on Indian and International runways for the last decade. Due to her high acclaim , Archana was invited by Galleries L’fayette Paris to present her collection with international design houses like Kenzo, Christian Lacriox, Ungaro and Nina Ricci in March 2008. Archana is one of the favorites amongst Bollywood glitterati, which includes, Katrina, Neha Dhupia, Mahima, Sameera Reddy, etc to name few. Her recent showstoppers and muses, includes young vibrant new faces like Mandira Bedi, Geeta Basra, Minisha Lamba, former Miss Sri Lanka Jacqueline Fernandez, etc.

Says organizer Raghav of Marvel Events, who has done several prestigious shows in the
city “ Fashion is my passion and the Hyderabad Fashion week curtain raiser has gone off
very well; with eminent designer Archana Kochhar doing a show for us on the 10th , I am
looking forwaerd now to the main event.”

The designers from Hyderabad who showcased at the curtainreaiser last week were Varsha Mahendra, Ishita Singh, Deepti Reddy, Varsha Patawari, Bhakti Reddy, Manga Reddy and Preetam & Sandeep; and Asif Merchant from Mumbai.
