Inaugurated

Hyderabad|India|December'2010:The three-day INDOCRYPT 2010
conference was inaugurated on 13th December 2010 at the Marriot
Convention centre. The 11th conference of INDOCRYPT is being jointly
organised by the C R Rao Advanced Institute of Mathematics,
Statistics and Computer Science (AIMSCS) and the University of
Hyderabad under the aegis of Cryptology Research Society of India.
Dr. C R Rao, noted statistician of the country, Prof. V Kannan, Pro
VC, UoH and Dr. Bimal Roy, Secretary, CRSI were present at the
inaugural of the conference. This conference has brought together
eminent researchers from across the world to present and discuss a
wide spectrum of research results and their applications in
cryptology and information security.
Prof. Guang Gong and Dr. Kishan Chand Gupta from the University of
Waterloo, Canada are the programme chairs for this conference. More
than 72 submissions from 22 countries in Asia, Europe, North America
and Australia were received and 22 papers were selected for
presentation.
Prof. V Kannan in his inaugural address said that the latest
research done in the area of cryptology is being shared at a common
platform which will benefit the participants. The technical sessions
in the three days conference will give an insight into the latest
research in Cryptology and Information Security.
The three days conference will see technical sessions on Security of
RSA and Multivariate Schemes; Security Analysis, Pseudorandom
Permulations and Applications; Attacks on Block Ciphers and Stream
Ciphers; Hash Functions; Fast Cryptographic Computation;
Cryptanalysis of AES and Efficient Implementation.
There will also be Invited talks by Prof. Neal Kobitz, creator of
hyperelliptic curve cryptography and the independent co-creator of
elliptic curve cryptography and Prof. Bart Preneel, President of the
International Association for Cryptologic Research and co-inventor
of the stream cipher MUGI and of the stream cipher Trivium.
