If you think IPL was enough, think again


Hyderabad|India|April'2011: Cooldose.com, the site which offers original and unique content to its viewers has come up with yet another interesting and innovative concept called Phenku YPL Player. The webisode will feature India's leading funny man Cyrus Broacha playing the Phenku; a character of a man who thinks he knows it all about cricket which is true besides the actual playing. The Phenku (pretender) is someone who has gone for the selections of all the cricket teams playing in the tournament but has not been selected because of which he thinks that he is very superior to others like Gourav Bengali and many more. The sarcastic pot-shots at the game will be the key highlight of the show. The show would be showcased on India’s first ever integrated property cooldose.com.

The 2 minutes webisodes will be a new addition to the website portal which gives its viewers content which is unique and caters to the target audience which is the youth who are bored of episodes on television and who look forward for something unique. Phenku YPL is a new addition to the digital portal and is something all are excited about. The project is backed and sponsored by Tata DoCoMo.

On the occasion, Cyrus Broacha said: “I found the concept very interesting and that is what excited me. People in our country are opening up to original & unique content on the wireless world; being an Avid viewer myself in the rest 121 crores, I feel the content that is presented to the audience needs to be interesting which is the reason why I have always been associated to original content. When I heard about YPL, it reminded me of all craziness we can do with cricket during the coming IPL, so I accepted it immediately”
