ITsAP organizes 18th Annual Software
Products’ Showcase, Awards and Conference 2010

Hyderabad|India|March'2010: The IT and ITES Industry Association of
AP - Formerly HYSEA, is organizing its 18th Annual Software Products’
Showcase, Awards and Conference 2010 on 12th and 13th March, 2010 at HICC,
Hyderabad . This is a two day showcase and awards event, in line with the
rapidly increasing traction in software products development work and
startup eco-system in Andhra Pradesh.
The inaugural session was on the 12th of March at 9:30 A.M, wherein the
welcome address was given by Mr. Narsimha Rao, President, ITsAP. The Guest
of Honour for the occasion was Mr. B.V.R. Mohan Reddy, Chairman & Managing
Director, Infotech Enterprises Limited and Sri Komatireddy Venkat Reddy,
Honorable Minister for IT&C, Youth Services and Sports, Government of
Andhra Pradesh graced the occasion as the chief guest.
The first day of the event had the Software Product Showcase from various
companies along with a number of seminars, panel discussions and sessions
on subjects like Challenges in social entrepreneurship, Challenges in
Social Entrepreneurship, Unconventional Sources of Funding, Indian
Products Going Global, etc. In a parallel track concurrently , two
important seminars on Security Preparedness Version 2.0 –Future Proofing
Security and Green IT were also arranged for the benefit of the IT and
ITES Organizations. These sessions/ discussions were conducted by eminent
speakers and Thought Leaders from the Industry, Academia, Analysts and
Investment Community.
The event is aimed at giving a platform to Andhra Pradesh based software
product companies to showcase their first version of products and other
products that create a social impact that are mainly used by NGOs and
government organizations. MNCs having their development centers in Andhra
Pradesh have an opportunity to demonstrate their products. Moreover,
student entrepreneurs are also getting a chance to showcase their creative
products and can share their ideas.
The main objective of ITsAP is to attract investments and spread the risk,
leveraging it to the whole state. Hence, ITsAP is supporting the
participants from tier 2 cities like Tirupati, Vizag, Warangal and
Kakinada by providing around 20 companies belonging to the tier 2 cities
with free stalls to showcase their products. ITsAP received over 100
nominations for the Annual Awards & Software Products’ Showcase and
Conference this year, of which more than 50% are from start-up companies.
