CM hosts Iftar at Nizam College

Hyderabad|India|August'2011: The Chief Minister Mr.N.Kiran Kumar
Reddy hosted Iftar and dinner for the muslim brothers at Nizam College
Grounds Hyderabad. He has also attended the Maghrib prayer at the venue.
Speaking on the occasion in Urdu and Hindi, the Chief Minister said that
the Government will do everything possible for the welfare of the Muslim
minorities.
The Chief Minister said that in addition to the 4 percent reservations,
the government is providing scholarships to the minority students on a
saturation basis and also financial assistance for Haj pilgrims. He said
the State Government has sanctioned another Haj house near the Shamshabad
Airport and also a study circle for the muslim students.
The Chief Minister said that the government today took a decision to
rehabilitate those who were arrested following the Mecca Masjid blasts by
creating confidence in them and other assistance required. He sought the
cooperation of all Muslim brethern for peace, development and progress of
the state.

APCC President D.Srinivas and former Minister Shabbir Ali, City Mayor
Smt.B.Karthika Chandra Reddy and other leaders attended the Iftar. Muslim
elders and elite of the twin cities were also present.
