Food for the soul-Mocha
introduces a monsoon Menu

Hyderabad|India|August'2010: This monsoon, Mocha captures all the
fun of soaking in the rain and translates it into the Mocha Monsoon Menu
with the concept of ‘Meals In A Bowl’. As it pours outside, warm up to
flavours from around the world at Mocha (Banjara Hills in Hyderabad).
Our cure to drive away the rainy day blues is with comforting and hearty
food specially created by the Corporate Executive Chef, Brainard Colaco,
Mocha – Coffees and Conversations. The menu distills the essence of global
favourites and brings them together with seasonal picks.
‘Meals In a Bowl’ promises a mouthwatering meal to keep you hooked.
Staying true to Mocha’s all-day food philosophy, there are unique takes on
traditional dishes as well as our innovations of old-school signatures.
The morning fantasy of Cereal Killer is a combination of all things yummy
and chocolate laden with our style of indulgence. You can also try
something unconventional and start your day with a hearty English style
breakfast of mashed potatoes and sausages of Bangers and Mash or have a
spicy fiesta with the midday Mexican snack of Bean and Nacho Chilli. We
know the best monsoon food comes from time tested recipes, so we’ve picked
up the choicest ones including the Medley of Veg Fritters that gets you a
Mocha twist to traditional Indian pakodas or the flavours of Vietnam with
Soupy Saigon Noodles. If that’s not enough, Mac and Cheese brings the
essential American one-dish meal to satiate all your hearty cravings.
According to Chef Brainard Colaco “As the name suggests, the menu is
designed around monsoon-friendly food served in bowls. The idea is to have
guests cozying up to hot bowls of food, lazing in a comfy sofa on a cold
rainy day and happily slurping away. Designed by putting together fresh,
everyday ingredients creatively, the meal is non-fussy, wholesome and a
lot of fun.
Go ahead, dig in!
