‘Multimedia Awareness and Career Guidance’ Seminar

Academy of Computer Graphics (IACG) is holding a
Free ‘Multimedia Awareness and Career Guidance”
seminar here in city on Saturday 28th May at
Harihara Kala Bhavan, Secunderabad from 9am to
1pm. The Seminar will be embedded with facts &
figures about the multimedia industry, growth of
the Indian Animation, VFX & Gaming market. etc. It
will be hosted by Mr. P. Ramakrishna, Founder and
CEO of IACG.
IACG has been undertaking these awareness seminars
across all the districts of Andhra Pradesh,
particularly for the benefit of rural students. As
part of this initiative Seminar will be organised
in city tomorrow.
“We have historical strengths in the arts. Our
creative talents are on par with the best in the
world. I strongly believe that it is the time for
us to unleash India’s creativity in multimedia,
the same way we did in IT, Telecommunications and
other fields” said Mr. P. Ramakrishna. Multimedia
is being used increasingly in varied fields like
entertainment industry, the Web and education, the
growth in these segments already lifted the job
market, added Mr. Ramakrishna.
Targeted at students, Multimedia aspirants, their
parents the Seminar is expected to be attended by
about 500 youth, informed Mr. Suresh, Incharge
Principal.
There will also be a screening of the award
winning short film “The Mystic Evolution”,
produced by its students.
IACG is the first academy to launch the unique set
of courses under an exclusive collaboration with
Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University
Hyderabad (JNTUH). The courses offered are
fulltime Bachelor of Multimedia (BMM, 4 Year
Graduation) and M.Sc. Multimedia (A 2 Year Post
Graduation) with Animation, VFX, Gaming and Film
Making as their specializations. IACG is offering
Film Making specialization in alliance with
Ramanaidu Film School (RFS) which could help the
students to attain hands on experience in the
fields of Cinematography and Direction.
