NCR Corp plans to set up
its 2nd World Head quarters in Hyderabad

Lakshmaiah, Minister for IT and Communications
Government of Andhra Pradesh to discuss on the
modalities of setting up their operations in
Hyderabad.

Lakshmaiah Hon'ble Minister for IT and
Communications Government of Andhra Pradesh and
discussed about NCR Corp plans for Asia Pacific to
set up 2nd World Head quarters in Hyderabad ( next
biggest to their Atlanta Head Quarters ).
Sri.Ponnala Lakshmaiah, Minister IT welcomed the
delegation from NCR Corp and briefed them about
the ICT industry in Andhra Pradesh. Minister IT
also made a comparative briefing to the visiting
Business delegation about the benefits of NCR
setting up their Software R&D Centre in Hyderabad
when compared to other metro cities in India.
Minister IT has assured them of full support from
the Government of Andhra Pradesh to NCR to set up
their operations
NCR Corporation a Fortune 500 company is the
largest manufactures of self‐service technology
such as ATM products in the world. With over
22,000 employees worldwide and a turnover of US $
5 Billion , as NCR expands it operations in India,
it is looking to consolidate the majority of
software development, internal technology support
and customer service operation within the State of
Andhra Pradesh. It proposes to set up the centre
of excellence at Hyderabad for R&D, Product
Development, and Customer Support operations.
The proposed centre would be employing directly
and indirectly about 4800 employees with
approximate annual salary bill of US Dollars 55
million. The majority of workforce will be
constituted of highly qualified professionals,
like engineers & MBAs. The proposed new facility
in Andhra Pradesh will require roughly 650,000
square feet of built-up leased space in an SEZ .
This facility will be the hub of NCR’s business in
Asia Pacific supporting global financial markets
in the region.
